James P. Girardo

James P. Girardo, 89, of Manchester, NJ passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Bernadetta (nee DeFilippo) Girardo. Loving uncle of Bridget & her husband Salvatore DeVenio, Gina & her husband Robert Pollio and Marc & his wife Dagmara DeFilippo. Also survived by many loving nieces & nephews and great-nieces & great-nephews. Mr. Girardo worked as an electrical engineer for the Jersey City Department of Public Works. Funeral Thursday at 8AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 9AM Sacred Heart R.C. Church. Interment Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown . Friends will be received Wednesday 4-8PM.
