Jane L. DeCarlo

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jane Louise DeCarlo, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left this world on May 25, 2025, at the age of 70. Jane was born on December 16, 1954, in Rye Liberty, Texas to William & Carol (nee Bartoldus) Savin, and spent much of her life nurturing her family and creating a loving home in Rutherford, New Jersey.

Jane is survived by her devoted husband, Peter DeCarlo, and their cherished children: David, Danny, Peter and his wife Youstina, Regina, Chris and his wife Lauren, Angela and her husband Kevin, Michael, Charlie, and Desiree and her husband David. She was a proud grandmother to 18 grandchildren: Antonio, Nikki, Jaycub, Brooke, Ethan, Angie, Julian, Aaliyah, Zac, Autumn, Matthew, Liliana, David, Sky, Paige, Evan, Gianna, and Anthony, as well as a new little grandson on the way, each of whom held a special place in her heart. She is predeceased by her loving sons, Billy and Anthony, and her beloved daughter, Janette.

She is also survived by her loving siblings: Janet and her husband Mike Thorngren, Salvatore and his wife Adelaide DeCarlo, Billy and his wife Leslie DeCarlo, Victor and his wife Donna DeCarlo, Regina and her husband Bill Sayegh, and Judy and her husband John Deacon. She is predeceased by her cherished sister, Karen Toth.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Wednesday from 4-8 PM. Funeral Thursday 9:30 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral mass 10:30 AM at Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Church. Cremation private.

Jane's warm spirit, nurturing presence, and unwavering love will be deeply missed but forever cherished by all who had the privilege to know her. In this time of sorrow, we take comfort in the countless lives she touched and the everlasting legacy of love she leaves behind.
