It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Janice D. Westerhoff, age 87, on May 2, 2025, in Fairfield, NJ. Born on August 28, 1937, in Paterson, NJ to Joseph and Ann (nee Grusczynski) Hibo, Janice dedicated her life to her family as a devoted homemaker, creating a warm and loving environment for those she cherished.
Janice is survived by her beloved husband, Gordon Westerhoff, and her loving children, Glenn & his wife Debbie Westerhoff, Gail Ann Gulley, and Sandra & her husband Michael Di Bartolo. She was a proud grandmother to her grandchildren: Diedra, Dana, Dawn, Stephanie, Krystle, Robert, Jesse, Michael, and Dominic. Janice also leaves behind a legacy of love as a great-grandmother to Noah, Neveah, Nash, Lily, Journey, Jianna, Jakobe, Alexa, Aubrey, Sammy, Alice, Kira, and Aiden. She is survived by her dear brother, Joseph & his wife Jane Hibo.
Janice was known for her warm smile, generous spirit, and the unconditional love she offered to her family and friends. She will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and the countless ways she enriched the lives of those around her.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 4-8 PM, where family and friends will gather to honor and celebrate her remarkable life. Funeral Friday 10 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Funeral mass 11 AM St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church. Cremation private.
