John A. Mezanko, Jr

Mezanko, John A., Jr, 90, of Lyndhurst, NJ on Tuesday, December 25, 2012. Beloved husband of Agnes (nee Paprota)Mezanko. Loving father of Carol Mezanko, Bernadette Wheeler, Suzanne Santonastaso & her husband Louis, Bonnie Ferdinand & her husband Kenneth, and Catherine Tonnon & her husband Garry. Dear grandfather of John, Mathew, Amy, Lauren, Jill, Craig, Christopher, Erika & Jaclyn. Cherished great-grandfather of Nicole, John, Brady, Hannah & Brielle. He is also survived by his sister Helen Piscorik who is 102 years old, and numerous nieces and nephews. John was pre-deceased by his son-in-law Charles W. Wheeler, Jr and his parents John Mezanko and Suzannah Yasko Mezanko. John was employed by Frank's GMC Truck Center and also was a truck driver for Concrete Specialties both of Lyndhurst. He was a Corporal in the US Marines 1942-1945. Funeral Saturday 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home 425 Ridge Rd Lyndhurst with a Funeral Mass at 10AM at St Michael's RC Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received Friday 4-8PM.
