John David Szalecki

John David Szalecki, 46, of Secaucus, NJ, born and raised in Jersey City, on Sunday, August 10, 2008. Beloved brother of Edward Szalecki, and JoAnn & her husband Michael DiGenova. Dear uncle of Michelle & her husband John Herbst, and Michael DiGenova Jr., and great uncle of Sofia & Juliana Herbst. Mr. Szalecki worked for the Jersey City Board of Education at School #11 for 10 years. He was also an organ donor. Funeral Wednesday at 9am from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 10am St. Michael's R.C. Church, Lyndhurst. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum. Friends will be received Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
