John A. Drzymkowski

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of John Anthony Drzymkowski, who departed this life on October 19, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on October 2, 1942, in Newark, New Jersey, John was a long-time resident of North Arlington, New Jersey.

John was a devoted professional in the field of public safety, proudly serving as a security guard for Bergen County. He was a respected member of his community and known for his unwavering dedication to the safety and well-being of others. John was also honored to serve as the Past Grand Knight of Lyndhurst Council, where he made lasting contributions to both the council and the community. He was a lector at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, and was heavily involved in the parish.

John also spent his younger years as a beloved radio host, known on the airwaves as Johnny Dream. He also served his community as a dedicated member of the Lyndhurst Zoning Board.

He is survived by his beloved sister, Michelle Latko, who will deeply miss his presence and the bond they shared. He was predeceased by his brother, James Drzymkowski, and his sister, Roberta Pocius.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday from 4-8 PM. Funeral Friday 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10AM in St. Michael the Archangel Church in Lyndhurst. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery & Mausoleum in North Arlington, NJ.

John Anthony Drzymkowski will be remembered for his kindness, integrity, and commitment to service. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in eternal peace.
