John Kobryn

John Kobryn, 58, of Woodland Park, New Jersey, passed away on December 21, 2025, in Paterson, New Jersey. Born on July 18, 1967, in Passaic, New Jersey, John lived a life marked by dedication to his work, deep love for his family, and unwavering kindness to all who knew him.

John was a Master Auto Technician for Joe Bellavia at Bellavia Chevy in East Rutherford. He took immense pride in his craft and found great joy in the camaraderie he shared with his Bellavia family. His passion for his work was evident to all who met him - he approachd every task with precision and care, earning the respe3ct and admiration of colleagues and customers alike.

For 25 years, John shared a devoted marriage with his beloved wife Linda. Together they made their home in Woodland Park with their five cherished cats. Their bond was one of mutual support and affection - a partnership built on love and laughter that enriched the lives of those around them.

John is lovingly remembered by his sisters, Krystyna & her husband John Eliasz, and Mary & her husband John Stahl. He was a proud uncle to Kristofer Eliasz & his wife Patricia, along with their children, Jonathan, Stephen, and Danielle Eliasz; Kim Hyra & her husband Pete; Natalya Stahl; Briana Stahl; E.J. Hackett; Richie Benites & his fiancée Bree Fleck, and their daughter Mya Benites. He also held a special place in the hearts of Linda's sisters, Michele DiStasio & her husband Anthony, as well as Karen Evans & her husband Jay.

He was predeceased by his parents, Tekla & Piotr Kobryn, whose memory remained close to John's heart throughout his life.

John will be remembered not only for his technical skill, but also for the warmth he brought into every room. Described by those who knew him as the kindest, most generous, and loving husband and friend, John's legacy is one of compassion and quiet strength.

May his memory bring comfort to all who were fortunate enough to know him. Visitation will be held on December 25, 2025 from 2-6 PM at Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield.
