McBrinn, John R., 68, of Brick, NJ on Thursday, October 16, 2008. Beloved husband of the Late Helen. Devoted father of Redmond & his partner Mat Eisenstein, Cherlyn & her husband Keith Demarest and the Late Debra & Raymond Jopp. Dear brother of Carol, Ruth-Anne, Evelyn, Mary-Beth, Thomas & Kevin. Cherished Grandfather of Harmony, Helena & Catherine and Great Grandfather of CJ, Anthony, Angelina. Also survived by Patricia Pepitone his grilfriend. Mr. McBrinn served in the US Navy on the USS Lafferty. He was a NJ Transit Police Officer for 30 years and a member of St. Dominic's Church in Brick. Funeral Tuesday, 11 AM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Rd., Lyndhurst, NJ. Cremation Private. Friends will be received Monday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
