John W. Baniel, 80, of Lyndhurst, NJ, on Thursday, March 24, 2011. Beloved husband of the late Ann Faith (nee Lawlor) Baniel. Loving father of Sherri Starrett. Cherished grandfather of Desiree Tunnero & her husband Vincent. Adored great-grandfather of Valentina. Born in Jersey City Mr. Baniel was a Sgt. in the United States Marine Corps and a veteran of the Korean War. He Retired from Inland Steel Company after 34 years. Funeral Tuesday at 9 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 10 AM Sacred Heart R.C. Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received Monday 5-9 PM.
