Yachmetz, John, 81, of Fairfield, NJ on Saturday, May 5, 2012. Beloved husband of Lorraine (nee Trawczynski) Yachmetz. Loving father of Deborah & her husband Louis Bertero and John Jr. & his wife Marianna Yachmetz. Caring brother of the late, Michael, Stephen, William, & Peter Yachmetz. Dear brother-in-law of Alice & Margaret Yachmetz and Frank Trawczynski. Cherished grandfather of Louis, Lauren, Lisa, Marina, & John David. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Mr. Yachmetz worked as an electrical elevator tester for Westinghouse before retiring 20 years ago. John was a member of the 55 Club of St. Thomas More. Funeral Wednesday at 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield, NJ. Funeral Mass 10AM St. Thomas More R.C. Church. Entobment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum. Friends will be received Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
