Joseph Louis Lanni, 96, of Toms River, New Jersey, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017. Beloved husband of Phyllis Rose Lanni (nee Frega). Loving father of Robert & his wife Patricia Lanni, and Irene & her husband Harold R. Stehling. Dear brother of the late Phyllis and Tony. Cherished grandfather of Robert Lanni, Jr., Christopher Stehling, and Tricia Lanni Pascale. Adored great-grandfather of Gianna, Olivia, Alexa, Brianna & Miles. Also survived by stepsisters Phyllis, JoJo and Mary and predeceased by 2 stepbrothers and 3 stepsisters. Mr. Lanni was a World War II Army veteran and a member of the VFW of Toms River. Funeral Friday 10AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 11AM Queen of Peace R.C. Church. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum.
