It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Julio Garcia, who passed peacefully surrounded by his family on November 13, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on May 31, 1951, Julio was a resident of North Haledon, NJ and was known for his unwavering spirit and love for his family.
Julio was a dedicated welder with NJ Transit, embodying hard work and perseverance throughout his career. He took immense pride in his profession, providing for his loving spouse, Brenda Garcia and their family. Cherished father of Anthony Kenneth & his wife Sara, Daniel Jeremy & his fiance Elizabeth Davila, and Marc Steven. Adored grandfather of Mackenzie, Daniel Julio, Jessenia, Jacob Leo, and Matthew Liam, whose lives he touched deeply with love and guidance. Dear brother of Casimiro & Cheo Garcia. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A spiritual man, Julio held his faith close to his heart, finding strength and solace in his relationship with God. He was a beacon of kindness, never disliked by anyone who crossed his path, and his warm spirit will be missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
Visitation Wednesday 9:30 - 11:30 AM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. A funeral service will begin at 11:30 AM followed by entombment at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Julio's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, reflecting his caring nature and desire to help others.
