Lawrence Frank Adamchak

Lawrence Frank Adamchak(Larry), 68, of Lyndhurst, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on April 21st 2016 after battling a long illness. Larry was born in Jersey City and has been a resident of Lyndhurst since 1962. He graduated from Lyndhurst High School and attended Newark College of Engineering. He worked for many years as a management consultant and served in the National Guard. Larry was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Greek Catholic Church of Jersey City. He was also a participant and a fan of many sports including basketball, baseball and bowling. He loved to cook and enjoyed fine cuisine. As a youth he worked at Sunny Hill Resort & Golf Course in the Catskills. Lawrence is survived by his sister Dr. Linda Adamchak of Delmar, NY; his sole surviving aunt, Christine Burack of Roselle, NJ and many loving cousins. Funeral Monday 9 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Burial service 10 AM Saints Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Greek Catholic Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM with parastas at 7 PM. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Saints Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Greek Catholic Church, 109 Grand Street, Jersey City NJ 07302.
