Leigh Ann Wyrwa

Leigh A. Wyrwa, 59, of Bloomingdale, NJ, for-merly of Conyngham, passed away Tuesday, August 18 at Hackensack University Medical Center with her family by her side. She was the wife of Michael Wyrwa Jr. They celebrated 17 years of marriage earlier this month.

She graduated from West Hazleton High School and Kutztown University. Her passion was art and design, and

she worked for many years as a visual merchandiser for several large retailers.

Leigh was a member of the Reformed Church in Kinnelon, NJ. Known for her unconditional love of dogs, she spent many hours working to reunite lost pets with their owners. She enjoyed expressing her creativity through art and design, gardening, advocating for animals, and spending time with family, friends, and her beloved dogs, Homer and Happy. Leigh's laughter and caring nature were gifts to everyone who knew her.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Lois A. (Miller) Krysiak and the late Robert J. Krysiak.

In addition to her husband and her mother, she is survived by her sister Darlene Krysiak, of Bloom-field, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Leigh's memory be made to Best Friends Animal Society, an organization that reflects her lifelong love and compassion for animals.

Family and friends are invited to Leigh's funeral service, 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 25 at T.K. Thomas Funeral Home, 145 Delaware Ave, Palmerton, PA. Visitation 10:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday. A memorial service will be held for Leigh at 11 a.m. on September 26 at the Reformed Church, 155 Kinnelon Rd, Kinnelon NJ.
