Lizabeth McCall

Bayonne

Lizabeth (Liz) Schaefer McCall (59), a Bayonne native, passed away on April 15 at the Holly Manor Care Center in Mendham, NJ after courageously beating cancer and then battling other severe health issues over the past several years.

Liz attended Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Elementary School and graduated from Bayonne High School in 1983. She spent most of her career in medical billing and collections at Medical Arts Bureau and Medcon, where she succeeded at her job and in making many lasting friendships.  Liz loved her family and friends dearly and especially enjoyed family dinners and spending time laughing and reminiscing. She had tremendous love for animals and never met a dog she wasn’t crazy about.  She enjoyed home improvement shows and reality television, especially Bobby Flay and Guy Fieri! Liz
was a big fan of modern country music and loved Blake Shelton and her favorite Jason Aldean.

Liz is survived by her beloved sister Kimberly Kemple (Jack), brothers Terence Schaefer (Tracey) and Eric Schaefer (Donna); her dear uncle Bill Topolewski (Barbara), and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, as well as many beloved cousins and friends.  She joins her loving mother Frances (Cookie) Schaefer (nee Topolewski) and father Terence Sr. as well as her most beloved little sister Nichole (Nikki). Liz will be missed for her silly laughter and the way she loved her family and friends.

Friends will be received Friday 6-8PM at the Caiola-Stellato Funeral Home, 691 Avenue C, Bayonne.  Funeral Mass Saturday 10:30AM St. John Paul II Parish Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, please meet at church.  In lieu of flowers, plants or gifts, please consider a donation in her honor to your local animal shelter or the ASPCA, PO Box 96929, Washington DC 20090.
