Marie S. Knoetig

Marie S. Knoetig (nee Canessa), 91, of Toms River, formerly of Guttenberg, New Jersey, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2015. Born in Jersey City, Marie was the beloved wife of the late John W. Knoetig. Loving mother of John A. & his wife Denise Knoetig, Andrew J. & his wife Patricia Knoetig, Andrea M. & her husband Eugene Postorino and Marie & her husband Thomas Merrill. Cherished grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Knoetig was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW, American Legion and D.A.V. Services are private under the direction of Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Donations may be made to a charity of you choice in Marie's name.
