It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Marion D. Dellapi, age 91, who left us peacefully on July 18, 2025. Born on July 27, 1933, in Orange, New Jersey to Pasquale and Siena Florio, Marion lived a full life dedicated to her family and her work as an Executive Secretary at Novartis in East Hanover.
Marion was cherished by her family. Beloved wife of the late August. Loving mother of Joseph and his wife Giulia Dellapi, August, Jr. and his wife Heather Dellapi, Maria and her husband David Pepe, Sr., and Donna and her husband Steve Shore, Sr. Cherished grandmother of David, Jr. and his wife Marisa, August III and his wife Madison, Ashleigh and her husband Kevin, Nicole, Dana, Victoria, Jennifer, Joseph, Steven, Jr., and step-grandson Ace. Adored great-grandmother of Savannah. Dear sister of Pasquale and his wife Iolanda Florio. Marion took great joy in being a grandmother and great-grandmother, creating lasting memories with her grandchildren and great-granddaughter.
Visitation Monday 4-7PM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Rd., Fairfield. Funeral Tuesday 9AM from the funeral home, a Mass will be celebrated 10AM at St. Thomas More RC Church. Entombment at the Gate of Heaven Mausoleum.
Marion will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
