Mary C. Alfano

Mary C. Alfano (nee Aiello) died October 31, 2005 at St. Mary's Hospital in Passaic at age 80. Born in Hoboken, she moved to Lyndhurst 51 years ago. She served as a lunch lady at Roosevelt School in Lyndhurst. Mary is survived by her beloved husband Joseph and three sons Joseph, Robert, and Ronald. She was the dear sister of Eleanor Hiller and the late Salvatore and Frank Aiello. Also surviving are her 6 loving grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. The funeral will be held on Friday at 8:30am from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home 425 Ridge Rd. Lyndhurst with a 9:30 Mass at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm.
