Mary Rickett

Mary (nee Rufrano) Rickett, 79, of Fairfield, New Jersey, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023. Beloved daughter of the late Joseph & Giovanina "Jennie" Rufrano. Loving wife of Walter T. Rickett. Cherished mother of Diane & her husband Allen Oberlin. Adored grandmother of twins Olivia and Ava. Dear sister of Angelo Rufrano and Sebastian J. & his wife Roswitha "Rose" Rufrano. Treasured aunt of Michael Rufrano and David Rufrano. Mrs. Rickett was a Secretary all of her life, retiring in 1994 from Liberty Mutual in Saddle Brook. Mary was very artistic. She painted a variety of pictures with her daughter as a Mother's Day tradition. She also liked to garden and sew and loved watching Antique Roadshow and Finding Your Roots. Funeral Thursday 10AM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Interment George Washington Memorial Park. Friends will be received Wednesday 3-7PM.
