Mary Vermeal Hayes

Mary Vermeal Hayes, of Florida, formerly of Edison, NJ, entered into eternal life on December 19, 2011. Mary is predeceased by her husband George V. Hayes, a Newark Fireman and her mother Patricia Maloney Vermeal. Mary is survived by three sons, Christopher & wife Kara, Adam and Scott; five grandchildren, Jamie, Tristan, Zachary, Jarred and Kevin. Mary is also survived by six sisters, Patricia Ross, Ann Vermeal, Catherine Ortiz, Loretta Lagala, Kelly Gallegos and Maggie Vermeal and three brothers, Francis, John and David. Mary leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Thursday, December 22, 2-4 & 7-10 PM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral service Thursday 7:45 PM at the funeral home. Private cremation on Friday.
