Maureen (nee Schaefer) Pacucci, beloved wife, mother, nanny, sister, aunt and devoted friend, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on April 5, 1937, in Queens, New York, Maureen spent her life nurturing her family and building lasting memories in New York, New Jersey and Florida. A proud homemaker, Maureen dedicated herself to her family, ensuring that her children and grandchildren were always surrounded by love and support.
Beloved wife of Andrew Pacucci for 66 years. Loving mother of Debra Ann Rivers & her husband Larry, Patricia Richards & her late husband Jeb, Michael Pacucci, and Andew Pacucci, Jr. & his wife Anne. Cherished Nanny of Lindsay Richards, Andrew & his wife Gabriella Rivers, Fred Rivers, Francesca Pacucci, and Andrew Pacucci, III. Adored great-grandmother of Liam. Dear sister of Grace Schaefer and sister-in-law of Tina DeCarlo.
Maureen was the leader of the "Pool 30 Club," where she found joy in snowbirding with her friends, hosting in both Florida and New Jersey that left everyone with warm memories. Maureen was one of a kind who had a way to connect to everyone she came in contact with and was truly loved by all. Her gatherings were adorned with the best meals as she prepared every detail from scratch with the freshest ingredients and complimented with a glass of white wine. Her cooking was unmatched as was her impeccable attire, from head to toe she was always dressed to the nines. An event couldn't end without Maureen singing "Minnie the Moocher" for all to hear.
