Menzie A. Giacalone

Menzie A. Giacalone, 88, of Fairfield, NJ on Monday, December 27, 2010. Beloved wife Helen J. Giacalone (nee Trotta). Loving father of Cathy & her husband Peter Salek and Annette & her husband Gus Giaimo. Cherished grandfather of Denise Struble, Michael Giaimo, & the late Robert Giaimo. Mr. Giacalone was a U.S. Army veteran during WWII. He was a machinist for Westinghouse for more than 25 years before retiring in 1976. Menzie worked as the gatekeeper at the Fairfield Community Pool from 2003-2009. He was a music lover and accordion player who was a member of Local #16 Musicians Union. Funeral Friday at 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield, NJ. Funeral Mass 10AM St. Thomas More R.C. Church. Entombment Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
