Michael Tabak

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Michael Tabak, who passed on October 28, 2025. Born to Eugene & Marie Tabak, Michael was raised in Lyndhurst before moving to Pompton Lakes, where he built a loving home surrounded by family and laughter.

Devoted husband to Christine (nee Parisi) Tabak. Cherished father to Jason Knoskie, Melissa & her husband Jason Gonzalez and Ciara Tabak & her fiance Justin Smith. Michael's greatest joy in life came from his role as a grandfather. Lowell, Ansley, Bryson, Mason, Knoxton, Drago, & Zara Ri-were the light of his life, filling his days with unending love and delight. Dear brother of the late Dennis Tabak. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Michael was not just a dependable guy; he was a hero in emergencies and the go-to for every Honey-do list. Whether it was making a car repair or lending a helping hand with a flooded basement, he was always there, often with a gentle chuckle and a nod that said, "I've got this."

A proud member of the Hoboken Motorcycle Club, Michael loved cruising on his Harley, relishing the wind on his face as he embraced the open road. He also delighted in the mysteries of the paranormal and found solace in the serene landscapes painted by Bob Ross. His eclectic interests made him a truly unique character who brought joy to those around him.

Visitation Sunday 2-6PM at the Ippolito-Stellato FIuneral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass Monday 10AM Sacred Heart Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.

As we prepare to bid farewell to a remarkable man, we invite all who knew and loved Michael to join us in sharing memories, laughter, and a little bit of the warmth he brought into our lives. Michael's spirit will live on in our hearts, and his legacy of love will continue to inspire us every day.
