Michele Pizza, 68, of Fairfield, NJ formerly of Jersey City, on Thursday, September 23, 2010. Beloved husband of Arcangela (nee Romano). Devoted son of Raffaela and the late Antonio. Loving father of Raffaela and her husband Dennis Dressler, Antonio & his wife Jeannette Pizza, and Angela & her husband Emilio Paladines. Dear brother of Angelo & Giuseppe Pizza. Cherished grandfather of Krystina, Michael, Jared, Antonio, Devin & Skyla. Mr. Pizza immigrated from Monte San Giacomo, Italy to Jersey City in 1968. He was a self-employed contractor, a former member of Monte San Giacomo Club in Hoboken and a member of the Italian Army. Funeral Monday at 9 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Funeral Mass 10:00am St. Thomas More R.C. Church. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Friends will be received Sunday 3-7 PM.
