Nicola G Fuschetto

Nicola G. Fuschetto passed away Sunday, May 21, 2023, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 91. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Tuesday, May 23 from 4-8 PM at Paul Ippolito Summit Memorial, 7 Summit Ave, Summit NJ. The Funeral will be held Wednesday, May 24th beginning at 8:30 AM in the funeral home with a Funeral Mass to be offered at 9:30 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Church, Summit. Entombment will follow at St. Teresa's Mausoleum. Born in Fragneto Monforte in the Benevento Province of Italy, Nicola moved to Summit, NJ in 2010. He was a farmer and landscaper for most of his life. He had a passion in working outdoors with his hands. Nicola was known for his strong work ethic but, most of all, he put his family first. He is predeceased by his beloved wife Assunta Fuschetto (nee: Sarracco). Loving father of Vincenzo & his wife Maggie Fuschetto and Josephine & her husband Gino Sivo. Dear brother of Lorenzo & his wife Lisa , Anna Caiola, and brother-in-law of Pierina Fuschetto and the late Pasquale & his wife Isabela, Mario Fuschetto and Graziano Caiola. Cherished grandfather of Clemente & his wife Carrie, Susan & her husband Charlie, Nick, Marco, and Rita & her husband Kyle. Devoted great-grandfather of Graziella, Nikko, Grayson, Colton, Michael, Mila, and Isla. Nicola is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Nicola's memory to the Center of Hope Hospice 1900 Raritan Rd. Scotch Plains, NJ 07076, or The American Kidney Fund, 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852, would be greatly appreciated.
