Nicolina D'Egidio (nee Liberatore), 82, of Newark, NJ on Tuesday, August 16, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Benito D'Egidio. Loving mother of Michael & Eileen D'Egidio, Mario & Christine D'Egidio, Mindy & Victor Gangemi, and Phyllis & Angel Bustamante. Dear sister of John, Ersilia, Enrichetta, Rita and the late Antonio & Natalina. Cherished grandmother of Lisa, Dina, Victoria, Jodi, Michael, Anthony, Mario, Nicholas, Alyssa & Michael. Adored Great-Grandmother of 12. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, & in-laws. Mrs. D'Egidio was born in Italy and worked as a seamstress. She was a member of the Rosary Society at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. Nicolina was a giving woman known for her extreme generosity and excellent cooking. She will be missed dearly by all who loved her. Funeral Saturday at 8AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield, NJ. Funeral Mass Saturday 9:30AM Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Newark. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum. Friends will be received Friday 5-9 PM.
