Norma Hackos

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Norma Hackos, a beloved mother, wife, and cherished friend, who passed away on April 23, 2026, at the age of 99. Born in a time of great change and resilience, Norma lived a full and vibrant life, leaving an indelible mark on all those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Norma was a longtime resident of Clifton, New Jersey, where she worked for ATT. She shared many happy years with her first husband, Theodore Wagner. Together they had a son, Theodore. Norma devoted herself to raising their family. After her husband's passing, she returned to the workforce and was employed by Kearfott.

Later in life, she married her second husband, Robert Hackos, and they spent many happy years together in Jackson, New Jersey. Norma's commitment to her work was only surpassed by her deep devotion to her family. Her son, Ted, recalls with fondness the love and guidance she provided throughout his life. Norma's nurturing spirit and unwavering support left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

She was the beloved wife of the late Theodore Wagner Sr. and the late Robert Hackos; the loving mother of Theodore H. Wagner and his significant other, Gerilyn Baron; the beloved sister of Doris; and the cherished aunt of Beverly and Richard.

Norma will be dearly missed and forever remembered. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in peace.
