Patricia Fraser Seda

Patricia Seda (née Fraser), 71, of Bayonne, NJ, passed away on August 28, 2023. Born on October 17, 1951, in Queens, NY, Patricia was a sentimental woman who enjoyed giving personalized gifts, especially during Christmas. She loved walking around New York City, her hometown, and had a passion for dancing to all types of music, particularly Merengue and Salsa.

As a mother of three, Patricia cherished her role as a parent and enthusiastically chaperoned many school trips, ensuring her children experienced all the wonders the city had to offer. She was also a doting grandmother to seven grandchildren and great-grandmother to two, sharing her talent for crocheting by making character hats and stuffed animals for them.

Patricia is survived by her three children: Kasandra Lopez-Garcia and her husband Luis Garcia; William Lopez and his wife Phyllis Lopez; and Maria Lopez Cintron and her husband Pete Cintron. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren: Kimberly Garcia Romero and her husband Michael; Lorenzo Seda; Alanna Valerio-Lopez and her wife Lorhena; Lusandra and Lucas Garcia; and Aaron and Cameron Cintron. Her great-grandchildren, Mason and Maverick Romero. All who brought her immense joy. Patricia is further survived by her eldest brother, David Fraser, and many friends who became family, including Sheryl Wilkins, Linda Morales-Broderick and Gabriela Lee as well as nieces and nephews; Vanessa, James, Steve, and Melissa Fraser.

Patricia was predeceased by her loving husband of 23 years, John Seda, as well as her stepson, John Seda Jr. Her brothers, James and Steve Fraser, also preceded her in death.

After dedicating herself to being a full-time mother and caregiver, Patricia embarked on a career as a bank teller and later retired from customer service at Verizon. In her leisure time, she found solace in her hobbies of crocheting and photography. Patricia's Etsy business, Hooked and Stitched, thrived as she shared her crafted creations with others.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the Caiola Stellato Funeral Home, located at 691 Avenue C, Bayonne, NJ 07002. Visitation hours will be held on Monday, September 4th, from 3 PM to 7 PM, and on Tuesday, September 5th, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM.

Patricia Seda will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her warm spirit, love for her family, and artistic talents will forever be cherished. May she rest in peace.
