Patrick J. Hutchison

Hutchison, Patrick J., 75, of Fairfield, NJ on Sunday, September 21, 2008 after a long battle with lung cancer. Beloved Husband of Dr. Ruth (nee Reagan) Hutchison, Professor Emerita Seton Hall University. Loving Father of Patrick "Rick" M. Hutchison. Dear Brother of Mary & her Husband Louis Gill, James H. & his Wife Joan Hutchison, the late Robert D., William A. & Anne Hutchinson, and Elizabeth Roche. Brother-in-Law of Richard & his Wife Karen Reagan and Margaret Kungl. Cherished Uncle of many Nieces & Nephews and the late Robert D. Hutchison. Mr. Hutchison was a Staff Sergeant for US Army Paratroops 82nd Airborne Unit. He was a member of the Hawthorne Caballeros Alumni Drum & Bugle Corps. playing cymbals and competing from 1960 to 1964. He was a woodworker who designed and built furniture. He also was a member of the Mayors Advisory Counsel & Board of Adjustment, President of Bayview Shores Property Owners Association and a member of Mantoloking Shores Property Owners Association. Mr. Hutchison worked for over 35 years for Becton Dickinson & Co. as an engineer. He received his BS and MS in Engineering from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Funeral Thursday at 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield, NJ. Funeral Mass 10AM Notre Dame R.C. Church, North Caldwell. Entombment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
