Peter Christiano

Peter Michael Christiano passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 20th, at the age of 77. Born to Ralph and Marie Christiano, he was raised in Bloomfield, NJ.

He graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1966 and immediately enlisted in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. For many years thereafter, he was employed as a Freight Dispatcher for trucking companies, routing and rerouting drivers in the days before GPS navigation. During his retirement, Peter especially enjoyed road trips and delivering Blue magazines to police stations throughout New Jersey with our dear "cousin Vinny."

Peter will be missed by four children: Gina Christiano of Lake Arrowhead, California; Theresa and husband Christopher Borgese of Totowa; Maria and husband Daniel Del Valle of Wyckoff; Anthony Christiano of Waterbury, Vermont; seven grandchildren-Nathan, Alona, Ziann, Brandon, Alyssa, Daniel Jr., and Dominic James. Dear brother of Patricia Monica & her late husband Ralph of Myrtle Beach, SC.  Cherished uncle of Tommy, Louisa, Tina, and Ralph Monica, Jr. 

Memorial Service Saturday, January 3, 2026 11AM - 2PM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Rd., Fairfield.
