Philip Mitchell, 78, of Parsippany, New Jersey, passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2017. Beloved husband of Ruthann (nee Ricco) Mitchell. Loving father of Gary & his wife Jill Mitchell and Gregg & his wife Michelle Mitchell. Cherished grandfather of Brian, Alicia, Dylan, & Stephanie. Dear brother of Anthony, John, and the late Kenneth Passafiume. Mr. Mitchell was a US Army Veteran serving from 1962-1963. He was a self-employed graphic designer/printer for many years. He was a member of the Fairfield Knights of Columbus Council #6380 and Fairfield Police Auxiliary. Memorial Mass Saturday January 14 at 11AM at St. Thomas More Church, Fairfield.
