With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Philomene Brizzi, a beloved aunt, friend, and dedicated healthcare professional. Philomene was born on March 7, 1925, in Fort Lee, NJ to Vito and Anna (nee Vigganio) Brizzi, and peacefully left this world on November 19, 2025, at the age of 100.

A graduate of Fort Lee High School and St. Mary's School of Nursing in Hoboken, Philly devoted her life to caring for others. As a registered nurse who began her career at Doctor's Hospital in NYC, she also worked as a private duty nurse before joining the medical staffs of the New York Telephone Company and AT&T. She touched countless lives with her compassion and skill during her career. Her commitment to the healthcare profession was unwavering, and her kindness left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Philly is survived by her cherished nephew, Brian and his wife Dr. Norma Murray, who will forever remember her as Aunt Dubby, a source of love and inspiration. She is also survived by her great-niece and nephews, Dr.Brian Patrick Murray, Dr. Megan Elizabeth Murray, Sean Michael William Murray Esq and his wife Ashley, and Matthew Philip Henry Murray, as well as her great-grand-nieces and nephews, Anne, Nathan, Ciaran and Isla. Her legacy of compassion and dedication to helping others will remain in the hearts of her family and friends.

Friends & family will be received Monday 9:30-10:30 AM at Hunt-Stellato Funeral Home, 1601 Palisade Ave, Fort Lee, with a Mass to follow at Madonna Church On The Hill at 11:00 AM. Philly will be laid to rest at Madonna Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Joseph's School for the Blind, a cause close to her heart.

Philomene Brizzi led a life marked by kindness, dedication, and an unwavering independent spirit. As we gather to honor her memory, we celebrate a remarkable woman who will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
