It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Priscilla Anne Cole, aged 88, who passed away peacefully in her home on May 3, 2026, surrounded by her family in Fairfield, NJ. Born on September 9, 1937, in New York, NY, Priscilla was raised by her loving parents Vivian & Shaw Cole. She resided in the West Essex are for over 60 years where she lived a life full of love, adventure, and service to others.

Priscilla was a dedicated travel consultant at Eagle Rock Travel in Roseland, NJ, where she shared her passion for exploration and adventure with countless clients. She was a member of the Montclair Junior League, West Hartford Junior League, and West Essex Juniors, dedicating her time to community service and making a positive impact on those around her.

Her faith was a cornerstone of her life. Priscilla was a devoted member of St. Thomas More Church, where she served as a lector, altar server, and Eucharistic minister, embodying her commitment to her community and her beliefs.

Among her happiest memories were those spent as a camper and counselor on Sebago Lake, Maine, from the ages of 9 to 21. She cherished summers filled with joy, laughter, and lifelong friendships. Priscilla's love for adventure extended to vacations sailing New Jersey waters with Peter and chartering a sailboat in the Caribbean with dear friends.

Former spouse of the late Peter Herbert Ill. Beloved mother of Deborah DelGuercio & her husband Kevin Goetz, Heather Lang & her husband Thomas, and Perry Ill & his wife Tami Carlow. Cherished grandmother of Mark, Brian and Andrew Zielinski, Alyssa Nortz & her husband Patrick, Laura Connelly & her husband William, Heather Massi & her husband Anthony, Shea and McKenna Ill. Adored great-grandmother of Charlotte and Emmie, Nora and Billy, and Miles. Dear sister of Francesca VanDuren & her late husband Frank, Joan Pendergast & her late husband John, Suzanna Luxardo & her husband Franco, Heather Steers and her husband Mike, and her brother the late Bruce Cole.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 2:30pm at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Rd., Fairfield. Doors will open at 2:00pm to welcome guests. Friends and family are invited to come together to honor and celebrate her remarkable life.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, honoring Priscilla's generous spirit and commitment to helping others.

Priscilla Anne Cole will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, generosity and the love she radiated throughout her life. She leaves a legacy of compassion and adventure that will continue to inspire those who knew her.
