Raymond Helou

Raymond Helou, 85, of Fairfield, New Jersey, passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018. Beloved husband of Geremia Helou (nee Barone) for 53 years. Loving father of Michele Helou, Renee Davis & her husband Dave and Denise Helou & her husband Bruce. Dear brother of Marcel Helou & his wife Joan. Cherished grandfather of Dakota, Madeleine, Zachary, Andrew, Benjamin, Connor & Zada. Mr. Helou was an Engineer for F.L. Schmidt before retiring. He was an Air Force veteran serving in the Korean War, the recipient of The Good Conduct Medal, The National Defense Medal, The United Nations Service Medal and The Korean Service Medal. Besides being an avid photographer, he enjoyed swimming and gardening. Funeral Mass Saturday 10AM St. Thomas More R.C. Church. Entombment Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum. Friends will be received Friday 4-8PM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road (via Old Sand Road), Fairfield.
