Richard C. Owings Sr.

Owings Sr., Richard C., 63, of Lyndhurst, NJ died at his home on June 14, 2010. He is survived by his son, Richard C. Owings Jr. of South Weymouth, MA and his sister, Michelle Owings-Christian of Parsippany, NJ. Mr. Owings retired in 2003 with over 30 years in the U.S. Postal Service. He was active in the American Postal Workers Union for many years in various capacities. Friends will be received Thursday 7-9 PM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. A service will be held at the funeral home at 8:30 PM. Cremation Private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to an animal charity of your choice.
