Schlemm, Richard L. , 85, of Lyndhurst, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Friday January 19, 2018. Beloved husband of 62 years to Maria Schlemm (nee Caltabellotta). Loving father of Richard B. Schlemm & his wife Eileen, Kevin J. Schlemm & his wife Grace, The late Allan Schlemm & his wife Maria T. Dear brother of Ronald Schlemm & his wife Jean. Predeceased by his sister Anne Giuffreda & her husband Frank. Cherished grandfather of Kelly, Katie & her husband Gary, Eric, Allison, and Mark. Richard proudly served his country in the Navy. After serving in the Navy, he worked for 40 years as a Sheet Metal Worker in Local 25. Richard was also a Cub Scout Leader and a member of the Elks, AmVets, Mt Carmel & Sacred Heart Seniors. Funeral Thursday at 9 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 10AM Sacred Heart R.C. Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
