It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Robert Lowman Davison, aged 90, on Wednesday, July 22, 2026. Born on April 13, 1936, in Hackensack, NJ. Robert lived a life filled with love, laughter, and dedication to his family. He was a proud paper salesman for Hudson City Paper Company in Wallington, NJ, for over 25 years where he built lasting relationships with colleagues and clients alike.
Robert was a devoted family man, lucky to have three wonderful daughters and two terrific sons.
Beloved husband of the late Ann (nee Pezzolla) Davison for over 66 years. Loving father of Barbara Trainor & her husband Michael, Linda Happe & her husband Edward, Robert Davison & his wife Mary, Paul Davison & his wife Jessica, and Jacklyn Torres & her husband Carmelo. Cherished grandpa of Kathryn Happe & her husband Ross Jackson, Richard Happe & his wife Cara, Kristin Trainor & her husband Jack Dixon, Andrew Davison & his wife Alexandria, Amanda Davison, Benjamin Torres, Jeffrey Davison, Joseph Torres, Peter Davison, and Kristi Miller & her husband Matt. Great-grandpa to Lola Jeanne Happe-Jackson, Iris Ann Happe, and Amelia & Abigail Miller. Dear brother of the late Phyllis Evans & her husband Pierce.
He proudly served his country in the Army from 1962 until 1965. A die-hard fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers and the New York Giants, Robert could often be found cheering for his teams. His love for nature was evident in his beautiful garden, particularly his cherished tomato plants that thrived on his driveway. He loved spending time on the beach, soaking up the sun, and enjoyed over 25 years of memories made in Spring Hill, FL. Known as the family weatherman, he always kept his loved ones informed with his weather forecasts.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Robert's life Sunday, July 26th from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ.
In memory of his wife, Ann, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
