Tessaro, Robert E. 86, of Ft.Lee, NJ on October 28, 2007. Beloved husband of the late Rosetta (nee Burke)Tessaro. Loving father of Thomas R.Tessaro (former Ft.Lee Police Chief) & his wife Maureen, Robert T. Tessaro (Ft.Lee Municipal Court Judge) & his wife June, Linda Rose Hunt & her husband James. Dear brother of Alfred & Francis Tessaro, Gloria Hensler, the late Arthur & Edward Tessaro.Also surviving are 9 Grandchildren & 11 Great Grandchildren
He worked for Calmar Steamship Corportation, Baltimore, MD for 41yrs.He joined the Merchant Marines in the begining of WWII. He was a veteran of the Invasion of North Africa, Sicily, & Normandy. Funeral Friday 9AM fron the Hunt Stellato Funeral Home 1601 Palisade Ave Ft.Lee, NJ. Funeral Mass 10AM at Madonna Church on the hill.Entombment Madonna Mausoleum.
