Robert F. Blauvelt, Sr., of Hasbrouck Heights died peacefully on November 5, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband Jacqueline A. (nee Miller) Blauvelt. Loving father of Robert F. II, Richard & his wife Karen, Ronald & his wife Jaime, and Renee Blauvelt. Cherished grandfather of 9 and great-grandfather of 4. Dear brother of Nesbitt Blauvelt and Lila Ebenhack. Mr. Blauvelt was a veteran of the US Navy (1952) and US Army (1962). He was a school crossing guard for the "Walking School Bus" for the Borough of Hasbrouck Heights. Friends will be received Thursday 6-8 PM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Friday funeral services will be private.
