Robert J. Malinchak, 69, of Lyndhurst, passed away on January 12, 2024. Beloved husband of Diane Malinchak (nee Maida). Loving father of Erica Gelzer and her husband Stephen. Adored PaPa to Alivia. Cherished brother to Cathy Drabin & her husband the late Greg and Linda Ayton and her husband Tommy. Dear brother-in-law of Margaret Cooke, Josephine Abate, and Joseph Maida. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, his best friend Jimmy Leanzo, and his cat, Mouse, & his dog, Amber. Robert loved all sports. He was especially an avid Minnesota Vikings and New York Yankee fan. He was always a tough competitor. That was his nature. His faith was strong. May he rest in eternal peace with the Lord. Funeral Tuesday 10AM from the Ippolito Stellato Funeral Home, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 11AM, Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington. Friends will be received Monday 2-4PM & 7-9PM at the funeral home.
