Robert Moylan

Robb Moylan passed away on September 14, 2026. Born in the Bronx, N.Y., and raised in North Arlington, N.J., his education began at Queen of Peace Grammar School, and he graduated from Queen of Peace High School. Moving to New York City and working on Wall Street, then onto the hospitality industry, working at the Waldorf Astoria. With more flexible hours, he was able to do what he truly loved, singing and performing in Off-Broadway productions.

Moving up to Salem, N.H., in the 70s, he found the place he loved calling home. He met and established lifelong friendships with Lorraine and Bill, Sheila and Carl, Philip and Jennifer, just to name a few. Still working in the hospitality industry and then later on for Home health care agencies. He joined the ACT Theater group in Mass. and directed and performed in many variety shows in the Salem N.H. area. Performing and singing all the great Standards in front of an audience was his true passion.

He is survived by his sister, Midge (Marge) Lejda; niece, Lynn (Scott) Luxich, their sons, Kevin (Miranda Luxich) and Jack (fiancé Julia); and nephew, Lee (Oscar) Lejda. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary O'Mara, and by his aunt, Margaret Moylan; his second family, Frank and Dorothy Barrett; and his brother-in-law, Leon Lejda.

He was a kind man with a big heart. A devoted Catholic, he looked forward to going to the St. Michael's Men's Prayer Group. When he could not manage on his own, Vinnie and the other men would take turns getting him there and to church on Sunday mornings at St. Michael's. That meant everything to him.

He loved being a sharp dresser with an even sharper sense of humor. He will be deeply missed by family and friends.
