Robyn Anne Walka

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robyn Anne Walka, who left this world on August 2, 2026, at the age of 48. Born on February 25, 1978, in Jersey City, NJ, Robyn was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend.

She was known for her infectious love of dance, her enthusiasm for vacations at Walt Disney World, and her cherished appreciation for classic films, including Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, White Christmas, and The Wizard of Oz.

She is survived by her devoted mother, Theresa (nee Kwacz); her cherished son, Jeremy Walka; her beloved sisters, Rebecca and Rachel Walka; her adored nephew, Jake Kuenzle; her uncle, Robert Montaldo; her best friend and guardian angel Tara Van Heumen; and her faithful feline companion Mr. Timmie. Each of them will carry Robyn's vibrant spirit with them as they remember the laughter and love she brought into their lives. She was predeceased by her loving father, Walter E. Walka.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 3PM to 7PM at Ippolito Stellato Funeral Home, Lyndhurst. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 10:30 AM at the Funeral Home, followed by a burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.

Though Robyn's time with us was far too short she will forever be remembered in the hearts of those who knew her. As we honor her memory, we invite all who knew and loved her to join in the celebration of her beautiful life.
