It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Roger Henry Steiner, who left us on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at the age of 84. Roger was born on February 10, 1941, in Brooklyn, NY, to George and Barbara Steiner.

Roger graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology in 1963 with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, where he played soccer and served as president of his fraternity. Later that same year, on June 15, 1963, he married the love of his life, Anita Diane (Diane) Steiner, in Wayne, NJ. Together they began their married life in Chicago, IL, and grew their family in Delaware and New Hampshire before settling in New Jersey. There, Roger and Diane took over management of Diane's family business,
Klammer's Poultry Farm in North Haledon and Wayne, NJ.

Roger later continued his professional career as a Mechanical Engineer with
Hofer's Mechanical Oven and Excalibur. After retiring, he moved to Coudersport, PA, to live with his daughter Terri and her husband Tony. Known for his dedication, integrity, and kind and gentle spirit, Roger was deeply respected by all who knew him.

Roger loved the annual extended family vacations to Long Beach Island, where countless cherished memories were made. He and Diane also shared a
passion for travel, especially to tropical destinations-the Dominican Republic being among their favorites.

Roger is survived by his brother Jon Steiner (Chicago, IL); his children Terri and her husband Tony Borro (Coudersport, PA), Jeff Steiner and his partner Jazz Whitman (Fairfield, NJ), and Kevin Steiner (Fairfield, NJ); and his beloved grandchildren Trey Borro and his wife Melody (Seattle, WA), Ty
Borro and his wife Allie (Butler, PA), Rachel Steiner (Wayne, NY), Grace Steiner (FL), Matthew Steiner (Fairfield, NJ), and Madeline Steiner (Fairfield, NJ). He was also the adored great-grandfather of Lennon Lane Borro (Butler, PA). His family was the cornerstone of his life, and he treasured every moment they shared-especially the family vacations at Long Beach Island and holidays.

Roger was predeceased by his beloved wife Diane, his parents George and Barbara Steiner, and his sister Gail LaSala.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7, from 4-7 PM at Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Rd., Fairfield. A Funeral Service will follow on Saturday, November 8, at 10:30 AM, with interment at Laurel Grove Cemetery,
Totowa.

Roger was a remarkable man who touched countless lives with his warmth,
generosity, and gentle humor. He will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the American Red Cross, or Tunnel to
Towers Foundation, honoring Roger's enduring spirit of compassion and service to others.
