Bowman, Rose (nee Valentine), 95 , of Lyndhurst, NJ on Friday, October 15, 2010. Beloved wife of the late George E. Bowman. Loving mother of George Bowman, Jr., Gilbert W. Bowman, Esq. & his wife Louise, Alice & her husband Herbert Orrick, & the late Rosemary & her husband Edward Di Napoli. Dear sister of Maryann "May" Meehan, The late Charles, Joseph, Michael & John Valentine & Alice Schneider. Cherished grandmother of 10 grandchildren & 13 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Bowman was born in 1915 in Greenwich Village, NY. She lived in Lyndhurst from 1943 to 2005. Mrs. Bowman was a charter member of the Lyndhurst Women's Club Evening Dept., Toastmaster's of Rutherford, & the Friendship Club of Lyndhurst. She was a former troop leader for the Sacred Heart Cub Scouts. Funeral at 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ. Funeral Mass 10AM Sacred Heart R.C. Church.
