It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Father Salvatore Greco, who departed this world on March 7, 2024. Salvatore resided in Fairview, NJ.
Salvatore was Born in Cefalu, Sicily, on Feb 5, 1931. Salvatore was the Twin brother of the late Rosario Greco, and other siblings including the Late Francesco Greco, Rosaria Sansone, and Teresa Greco. Son of the Late Santi Greco and Giuseppa Greco.
Salvatore was the Beloved and devoted husband of the late Giuseppa Greco, beloved and devoted father of Santo Greco, Maria Greco and Carmela “Melina” Greco. Grandfather to Salvatore Greco, Jonathan Haas, Valentina Greco, and Matthew Haas. He is survived by Brother-in-Laws and Sister-in-Laws in America and cherished Family in Italy including Maria Traina, Teresa Provenza and their families and Nieces and Nephews.
In Italy,Salvatore grew up in the countryside of Sicily and Loved the mountains and was an expert woodsman and the authorities enlisted his help in locating lost people.
Salvatore came to America in 1978 with his family and Loved to walk, and play Bocce at Hudson County Park. Salvatore didn't speak English but because of his hard work, he rose up the ranks to became the Lead as a Foreman. Although If you asked Salvatore what he did for work, he would tell you that he “travagliava chi Fimmini”.
Salvatore Greco left us a Legacy of Loyalty, Serenity, Love, and Compassion. May you rest in Peace “Caro Papa” You will be deeply missed, and you will continue to Live in our Hearts... until we meet again.

Funeral Service Friday March 15, 2024, 11AM, at the funeral home.
Followed by entombment at his final resting place in Fairview mausoleum with his Beloved Wife Giuseppa.
