Stephen F. Kachmarsky

Stephen F. Kachmarsky, Jr., 78, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2017.Born in Bayonne, he lived here all of his life. He worked for the U.S. Navy in a civilian capacity for 30 years. Employed in various positions including Management Analyst and Writer/Editor, he retired from the MIlitary Sealift Command, Atlantic (formerly located at the MOT) in August 1994. Mr. Kachmarsky is predeceased by his parents, Stephen F. Kachmarsky, Sr. & Anne H. Kachmarsky. He is survived by his aunts, uncles and many cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial will be offered Saturday, 11AM at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, Bayonne. Interment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City. In accordance with the wishes of the deceased, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, individuals are requested to send donations to the Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN), 5817 Old Leeds Road, Irondale AL 35210-9948 to enable EWTN to continue communicating the word of God and bringing Catholic religious services to the home-bound.
