Thomas Edward Wood

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Thomas Edward Wood, age 48, of North Arlington, New Jersey, who passed unexpectedly on Thursday, March 12, 2026. Tom was born on February 2, 1978, in Ridgewood, he was a devoted husband, loving father, and a cherished friend to many.

Tom was a dedicated member of Laborers Local 731 for over 20 years, where he contributed his hard work and commitment to the construction industry. He embraced his role as a laborer with pride, always ready to lend a helping hand to colleagues and friends alike. Known for his caring nature, Tom was someone who could always be counted on in times of need.

Beyond his professional life, Tom was an excellent cook, known for creating delicious meals, particularly during holidays when he delighted his family with feasts. His love for cooking was matched only by his passion for travel. Tom cherished time spent with his family, exploring destinations such as Disney, Hershey Park, Virginia, and the Jersey Shore, creating lasting memories that will be treasured by those he leaves behind.

Devoted son of Edward & the late Sharon Wood and son-in-law of Louis & the late Barbara Rente. Beloved husband of Brianne Wood. Loving father of Alexandra Kaduscwicz, Trinity Kaduscwicz, and Victoria Wood. Dear brother of Sandy Bonelli & her husband Lee, Edward Wood, and Danielle Wood. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A visitation will be held Thursday, March 19 4-8PM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Friends & famly are welcome to gather at the funeral home Friday at 10am prior to the Funeral Mass 11AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Tom's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital to mirror his giving nature.
