Vernon "Jack" Cable, 87, of Woodland Park, New Jersey, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2014. Beloved husband of 65 years to Margaret Cable. Loving father to Don, Marla, Paula & Carla. Dear grandfather to Adam & Samantha. Jack was a veteran of the United States Navy and served during WWII. Funeral service Monday 11 AM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Private cremation. Friends will be received Sunday 2-6 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka KS 66675.
