It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Victor Raul Gonzales Suarez, a beloved son, brother, cousin, uncle, and caring friend who passed on June 17, 2026 at the age of 63.
He was born on June 8th, 1963, in Lima, Peru to Carlos Gonzales and Graciela Suarez.
He dedicated himself fully to his mother, Graciela, who he loved unconditionally and spent most of his free time entertaining.
Victor was also a cherished brother to Juan Carlos, Luis, Lilian, Julio, Diana, Daniel, David, Patricia, Marco and Alex.
He will be missed by his nephews and nieces, Bonnie, Ginita, William, Sandra, Katherine, Andrew, Bryan, John, Pierre, Brandon, Joshua, Lesly, Jael, Grace, Harlan, Pierre A., Fatima, Maximo, and Raulito; and he was a special great-uncle to little Mateo.
As a term of endearment, some people called him Vitoco especially his uncles and aunts, Berta, Corina, Susie, Alfonso, Armando and Raul. He always enjoyed his visits with them.
He valued and cherished his siblings and always participated with all family events and shared memories.
Thank you for the great memories that sisters-in-law Gina, Ana L, Angelica, Lesbia, Ana C, Jenny, Diana, & dearest Yolanda shared with him.
Victor has great memories with Will, and also enjoyed all Polish dishes that Slawek, his brother-in-law, shared with the family.
Everybody knew he loved to travel to his mother's country, Peru, where he enjoyed sightseeing the north and the beaches.
His dream beach was Mancora where he was planning to retire one day.
He hated winter and always avoided the cold weather. It was funny seeing him dressed like an Eskimo when it was only 50 degrees.
He shared a lot of great stories with the people he worked with in Walmart for over fourteen years.
He will be remembered for his kindness, warm heart, helping hands and the love for his family.
Family and friends are invited to gather to honor his memory and celebrate his life Sunday from 1-5pm at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ.
Burial, Monday, at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington NJ.
