Violet Schreckenstein (nee Post) died Thursday, February 19, 2004 at Passaic Beth Israel Hospital. Born in Closter, She lived in Carlstadt before moving to Lyndhurst 57 years ago. She is the loving mother of Violet Sissman of Lyndhurst, NJ, Thomas Schreckenstein of Lawrenceville, GA and Michael Schreckenstein of Lyndhurst, NJ. Dear grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. The funeral services will be held on Monday at 10am at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home 425 Ridge Rd., Lyndhurst. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery. Friends will be received Saturday and Sunday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
